Default HP Touchpads going really cheap

Okay this sounds a bit spam botty, but it's not really, more of a public service announcement

These are going for $99 (for 16GB, $148 for 32gb) at Harvey Normans because despite launching last month HP has pulled support for the platform.

They're basically a cheap nasty ipad alternative. You can't really replace an ipad with it but if you're looking for something to give to someone who just wants to check email and surf the net (kid, older relative, non computer literate person) then it's fairly decent.

They're selling out really quick (I had to line up and got the last one at Osborne Park HNs) but I'm sure some of you will be able to find a few.

Personally I got one for my mum to check her emails on and read the news.

I was at uni when I got tweeted about it soon after the sale started, drove 10 minutes up the road and me and a mate got the last two, but then that was close to the CBD. I don't know what it's like at outlying Harvey Norman's
