Default Unofficial Henkei Scaled Ultra Magnus in the works

just a repeat of my post from here:
    http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showth...075#post263075

but there seems to be another henkei/classics scale UM in the works
its discussed on the KOToys Forum and also ACToys Forum

(Note - i might get busted for direct linking another site's pics - so can someone repost the pics here for me)

Its supposedly made by CHMS (the guys that produce high end KO's of the henkei seekers)

there is also an interesting video of the transformation here:

The video is pretty cool and the design shows promise even though its still in development stage!

That looks awesome. Does I have been interested in getting the CHMS Seekers but have held off as I couldn't find any decent information on their quality.

Will be interesting to see this as it is further developed.

just FYI on the Seekers.... Moldwise theyre great but suffer some assembly issues. My SS has loose joints, my Rainmakers have some paint flaking on the gunswhere a few parts werent primed but my Sunstorm and purple air warriors are perfect... so worth it overall. KOtoys is having a sale as well so have a look.

10:1 this thing winds up being a 3d cad and 3d printer design and engineering job. VERY interesting approach, although the thing looks more MP than Henkei. I honestly hope they do a straight Prime too, considering the shoulder articulation that mold has.

There is way too much intricate panel folding in the armour, I doubt this will happen and even if it did it wouldn't look very good in alt mode because of panel lines everywhere. :/

I am also a bit skeptical. The animation seems more about promotion than testing to see if the parts come together well.

Good overall design that borrows a fair bit from City Commander and also improves on it. However there are some 'mass' and displacement issues that I am not understanding such as the large trailer coming together as armor.

I am also a bit unsure about end result as it's all cad drawn. We have been caught out in the past when a digital render or cad drawing looks a lot better than the end result.

I guess that this is something that we will need to wait for 'Real life' pictures before we can fully assess.
