I had a bit of a mixup with BBTS awhile back and their customer service was great to deal with. Apologised and issued store credit quite promptly. I'm not a big fan of their "pile of loot" however. I had loot sitting there with pre order items for nearly half a year. Adding in more items just shot up the shipping cost as if they were being shipped individually, not as a combined parcel

In my experience, BBTS' POL doesn't really offer much of a saving

Sounds like you're referring to the plastic flaps that act as a wheel cover.

    Hopefully BIgbad toystore covers you.

But even if they don't, on the upside, those flaps don't do much except cover the wheels in bot mode (it doesn't do anything at all in vehicle mode except sit underneath the truck. Some folks actually prefer having the wheels exposed like MP01.

Just went to send them an email and couldn't find my order number... So I went over to another site I visit and wouldn't ya know it! Apparently I ordered it from TFsource. So emailed them instead. So I'll have to see what they say about it.

This is an excellent toy. Sure, it costs a fair amount, but once you have it in hand, it is just SO WORTH IT. It just plays so well! THe transformation is so intuitive and enjoyable - it is a FUN toy.

    Some comparisons:

But this is just too fun a toy to put down!

Pity I have to fly overseas tomorrow and leave this behind

Bring him with you dude. Always fun to have a TF toy to play with aboard a flight.

EXCEPTIONAL toy! Worth every penny. If it takes $250 to get something of this quality, then I'm happy to pay $250 for every upcoming toy.

Paint job, transformation, the look of both modes, articulation, level of detail, gimmicks. Everything about it is just fantastic!

Easily wins Toy of the Year 2011!

I find if you take the flaps that fold on the bottom and let them overlap, the rest of the legs hold together well.

It looks cheap, ugly, incomplete, and unfinished.

I never understand the argument for "toy accuracy". Wouldn't that make a KO or an original the best toy then? With cartoon or fiction accuracy, you are striving to get as close to something that does not actually exist, whereas with "toy accuracy", you're striving to be as close to something that already exists? Why not just enjoy the original?

Welp, finally opened the big guy up. Aside from a slightly crooked right head antenna and fairly loose heels the QC is pretty good, and both of those are fairly minor complaints. The eyes could do with being less dark, and the right trigger finger pops off fairly easily. Spike is tiny, so he's not compatible with the HA figures and Prime won't work with the HA humans. Pity.

Other than that, he's pretty sweet. The engineering is amazing as you'd expect, and the transformation is at just the right level of difficulty IMO. Not quite worth the asking price IMO but he's very much the definitive Prime and I'm glad I have him.
I haven't opened up my PE-11 Scouting Force X set yet, but as it stands he's the number one favourite TF acquisition of the year, and equal second favourite collectible/toy acquisition after the Good Smile Tachikoma.

More than a month on and still loving the toy.
If this much later I keep picking up the toy and fiddling with it I know this has been more than worth my cash. (:

So is this a good MP to start with. I'm getting the Hasbro version- $150 seems fair.
