That is fantastic news!

It'll be interesting to see how they tackle the Hobbit,Dwarf/Man, Elf height difference with the minifigs.

I once wrote to LEGO stating that I think it'd be good if they could make the kid minifig legs bendable at the hips, like the way the "adult" minifig legs could bend. The reply I got was that they will be looking at this, so hopefully this issue will be fixed.

That's very interesting. All I could come up with was using the old school technic figures. They're about double the height of a normal minifig

The only problem with the LOTR sets will be, of course, the price.

This one's a must have for me. It doesn't look it but considering its at least a full half level higher than every other modular building its gonna be massive
