So I tried out some painting on spare parts I had laying around, did a base colour, let dry, more base colour, dry, then lots of detailing. Finally I thought I'd try out some clear coat. Sprayed a thin layer on, waited a few hours, sprayed another thin layer on. But when I came back to see if it was dry I found I could see through some minor parts of the paint and could see it's original colour. Did I not wait long enough for the clear to cure or did I use the wring clear or? And 24 hours later it's still not as hard ad it should be ie if I push pretty hard on a spot you can see where my finger was.
