    Default Shmax

Does anyone here use Shmax.com to keep track of their collections?

I signed up but lost interest but now I need to include my collection in my contents insurance.

Recommended site? The site seems a bit slow to me - also just thinking about doing an inventory on the collection gives me a headache.....

No, but you could try Jaydisc's iTFdb.com

I tried it... then gave up. Seems too complex. I'm happy just using my own spreadsheet.

Cheers Paulbot that looks like it could be a solution!

I know what you mean - and it felt like my internet was on dialup again when moving around the site for some reason

Yeah, the sig function is what made it appeal to me... but just so cumbersome and complicated!

Echoing the previous comments. It does a lot of pretty cool things - I think the owners have updated it and made it a little easier, however it became too much of a hassle/too hard to see all options/really complicated in terms of variants. Though the valuation function would be pretty helpful for insurance purposes.

I much prefer Jaydisc's iTFdb though as it's muc more straightforward and simple (even if I don't agree with all the decisions on how stuff is listed. )
