Ya know... imagine if, for the next 12 years, they repainted Ultimate Optimus Prime with a new Lunar New Year animal theme on it (e.g. 2013 - Snake) etc. I reckon it'd work as an Asian market exclusive thing. Although the mould would get severely degraded (it'd be a mess by time they get up to Rabbit! ). Unless they pick a different mould each year - kinda like a lot of BotCon exclusives. So for instance, Ultimate OP is a 2011 mould which they'll use to herald in the 2012 Lunar Year. Pick a mould from next year's line for 2013 and so on and so on.

I reckon it'd work...

What would be even better is if they re-used moulds whose alt modes match that year's animal.

Man... 12 years to collect a whole set... eeevil! Especially for say new collectors, like someone who decides to become a TF collector in 2021 would have to go and pay craploads on stupid inflated aftermarket prices trying to collect all those other figures he's missed! Har!!
