I prefer to give myself the challenge of making stop motion animations strictly using the articulation of what the toys already have without modification. Customising the toys to make them more articulated feels like "cheating" to me.
At least, that's what tell people to hide the fact that I lack the skills or inclination to modify them for better articulation.![]()

that's a neat vid you've made! i think you've edited it to fit the music really really well. you didn't have to worry about articulation with those figures though did you?
i didn't answer the question in your other post very well at all. the answer is yes. and the 2 i rambled on about are the only 2 that don't as yet. on a side note, the mods aren't necessarily or hardly ever for better articulation but rather a better likeness to, uh, whatever character i'm trying to represent.
Thanks for the kind words.
That's what I thought when I first started, but it was still challenging getting those figures to mimic the original dance. The two Megatrons proved more challenging (MP Megatron's shoulders have surprisingly limited articulation) - and G2 Megatron was the most challenging, being a brick and all.It would have been impossible for him to strike the final pose, so I just had him jump up and transform, finishing off in tank mode.
