That's why when I buy LEGO I always lift the box for a feel of its mass in my hand first. Those LEGO Star Wars sets, as well as other sets that probably have to pay licence/royalty fees (e.g. Batman, Indiana Jones) are lightweights compared with LEGO branded sets.

Funnily enough, the oversized box really does emotionally make up for the dollars you've poured into the purchase, even after construction.

Also 'd get more annoyed with a set that came in a sensibly sized box which I couldn't store a partially disassembled model into easily (or at all).

Just though I'd show off my new Lego Exo-Force stand I recently erected in my playroom:

Still trying to work out where I'm going to put the other 8 sets I have coming in the mail, as well as my Mars Mission and other assorted space sets.....
If I want your opinion, I'll give it to you

Was with STL last night when he built an ExoForce in front of me. Was SOOO impressed with the articulation.

Saw this INSANE Lego model of Langeoog Island today. Here's a panoramic:

    Wow!

I just luv vintage toys - not crappy toys but cool stuff like this!

It makes me dream about owning something pre-TF (Diaclone or Microman) someday...
