I saw the designer dreamliner jet at target today.

    $99.99 though.

I personally don't like the nose on it, but looking at it, it appears to be very "classic" in the bricks it uses.

And as a note, I noticed that target are using price stickers again.

I didn't really like it as it's not minifig-friendly. Could always crash it into the Lego Eiffel Tower I guess.

But to be minifig friendly, it would have to use those evil "propriety large moulded bricks".

No way...it could easy be done with standard bricks. you're just making excuses for them coz you're in bed with the founder.

I agree, a lot of angled pieces would definitely have worked better but I have no interest and even my lil sister said "it looks knda funny".

Hey guys, are Hasbro's Built to Rule Transformers good for Lego parts? There's a Jetfire someone put up not complete but i'm interested for parts.

If you had said flounder..... then I'd have to say you were jealous.

But to be minifig friendly, they'd have to create huge "pull away" sections with the classic bricks. Or larged hinged sections. All in all it would be pretty inpractical.

Also it shows how well, crap it looks by not using the newer curved pieces too. I'm too used to seeing the new city jets and cargo planes which are minifig friendly.

This one is more of a display/model piece.

So it did, stupid me saw the early August date and automatically assumed it was a two week sale.

Looks like the lego store or overpriced ebay items are the only ways left, but thanks for looking everyone!

Rumoured to be near 6,000 pieces, taking the "largest set ever" title away from the UCS Millennium Falcon, I give you: the Taj Mahal.
