Funnily enough, the oversized box really does emotionally make up for the dollars you've poured into the purchase, even after construction.

Also 'd get more annoyed with a set that came in a sensibly sized box which I couldn't store a partially disassembled model into easily (or at all).

Just though I'd show off my new Lego Exo-Force stand I recently erected in my playroom:

Still trying to work out where I'm going to put the other 8 sets I have coming in the mail, as well as my Mars Mission and other assorted space sets.....

Was with STL last night when he built an ExoForce in front of me. Was SOOO impressed with the articulation.

Saw this INSANE Lego model of Langeoog Island today. Here's a panoramic:

    Wow!

I just luv vintage toys - not crappy toys but cool stuff like this!

It makes me dream about owning something pre-TF (Diaclone or Microman) someday...

That is just mindblowing. That's what I'd love to do one day. It'd be an absolute blast. I can see it being relatively easy as long as u have the pieces. The time would be sheer fun.

And those look awesome, Fungal. Where's ur Aero Booster. I'm pretty sure u had one. I've only managed two Exo-Force figs (Iron Condor & Blade Titan) so far, both at $11 from Toy Kingdom. And as Jaydisc mentioned, I constructed one of them last night and they are amazing. I'm lookin' at some eBay auctions atm and hopefully will score a heap of them cheap. *fingers crossed*

Aero Booster along with several other Exo-Force sets are en-route from the Lego Online store - hopefully today (Friday).

That is so great. I love seeing these old vintage sets, really shows how far lego has come, and the quality of it too, I'd wager it's still in fantastic condition too, unlike every other toy from that era. Lego stands the test of time for sure.

I really like the house set.
