Default bw optimal optimus blast sheilds

    Although i strongly recommend holding out for these actual parts for sale,here are pictures of the blast shields for beast wars Optimal Optimus;
the blast shields can be broken down into these molds-left and right middle
the blast shields front and back..Good luck with your project!!

outer shields showing connection pegs..(there are two lots of this left/right set-1 set pictured)

middle shields left and right front..

    inner connectors for sheilds..

    these are some (approx) measurements-
-middle sheilds-top 3cm(long top side front)
    -top 1.8cm(short top side front)
    -lower 2.1cm(long lower front)
-lower 1cm(short wrap around lower front side)
-outer sheilds(mirrored for left and right)
-top 1.8cm(top front each side edge to middle point)
-lower 1.4cm(lower front each side edge to middle point)

Hope this makes sense and i hope this helps, let me know if you have any extra questions and i will do my best to help!

Thanks for the pics. You've been a great help. I didn't know they where separate pieces...I always thought that they where a one piece. As I never had then originally, I would never known they came in 3 pieces.....But I am undeterred with this new development and still attempt it, Maybe as a one piece section, I will probably just leave them on his arm anyways....

Photos to come later when I finally get the sheets to make then.

    Glad to help!
the two side blast shield pieces connect to the center blast shield piece and onto each forearm with a spring loaded connector so they fire off
OR by round tabs on the two side blast shield pieces to the top of his shoulders(either are used in the show)
Looking forward to seeing some pics of this project!!
