Maybe as a one piece section, I will probably just leave them on his arm anyways....

the two side blast shield pieces connect to the center blast shield piece and onto each forearm with a spring loaded connector so they fire off
OR by round tabs on the two side blast shield pieces to the top of his shoulders(either are used in the show)
Looking forward to seeing some pics of this project!!
