Default 2012 Toy Hobby and Nursery Fair

Just wondering is anyone planning on going to the Toy Hobby and Nursery Fair this year? And also has anyone gone previous years, much transformers stuff there?

The Toyfair is a trade-show, and they say that it isn't for the general public, but they don't seem to check credentials when registering or picking up your registration name-tag.

Demonac & I have gone to each one since 2008, and are planning to go again this year.

The Hasbro exhibit is usually the biggest one there, because Mattel doesn't participate. They usually have a fair few Transformers on display, but since the AUS
Toyfair is about a month after the US Toyfair, we rarely get anything displayed that wasn't already seen at the US Toyfair. Provided fans don't get in the way of the
Hasbro Reps and their customers (the Retailers), some careful "testing" of the out-of-packaging figures is possible... but be aware that sometimes they have on display
pre-production prototypes, which shouldn't be touched, or attempted to be converted.

This year should see TFPrime toys as their main focus, as they should be in stores by then.

For an idea of what previous years were like:

They don't have stores there for you to buy stuff do they? And thanks or the info, the pics are great. I think I'll wait till I try to get in, I don't think I could pull of being in the business at 17. :P

They don't sell anything there. It is just a "presentation" of future product, for retailers to pre-order for the next 12 months.

As for the age - we've seen people of all ages there, including the occasional child, but one year Demonac had trouble getting inside with his kid with him.
And there are other options to register with, not just business.
