    That's exactly who I saw when looking at that pic; drop the Mercedes logo and whack it in TF: Prime/Generations you reckon?

    Would they need to drop the Merc logo? Hasbro's already acquired the licence to use that vehicle licence for the base mould so they wouldn't need to worry about it again for repaints/retools would they? (otherwise could you imagine the number of times they'd have to acquire additional licences from GM and Freightliner for all their movieverse Bumblebee and Optimus Prime mould reuses!)

    I would imagine so but it all really depends on the terms of the contract, in that if it was stipulated that the car was only ever to be used as 1 character with the name Soundwave then yeah; they'd have to drop it.
    I think you're probably right though, the contract would likely be broader than that.
