Animated has arrived at my local TRU, got me Lockdown, then his legs fell off. Bloody QC issues? How does one fix crappy ball sockets again?

I heard somewhere that you should paint the balljoint in clear nail polish & keep moving the limb as it dries (so that it doesn't become too stiff).

Sure makes you think - These are brand new & they already have QC issues...

Works a treat. However I'm not sure if it is worth bothering with on Lockdown, mine has very tight joints, but the leg still pops off, a transformation design flaw more than a QC flaw.

I've gotten nearly a dozen of the figures thus far and have had nothing to say concerning QC issues or bad paint, which is more than I can say for the first dozen movie figures I purchased. Paint seems to be of better quality than the movie, but still nowhere near as good as Energon and Cybertron.

However there do seem to be some poorly thought out design issues, the aforementioned Lockdown leg problem and the Bumblebee Stinger issue to name the two most obvious.

Just picked up Starscream from TRU! He's awesome!

Bumblebee's stingers hang on the sides of his arms in a rather odd looking way. If you want them to go flush with the arms it takes a lot of force to put them there, and a lot of luck not to accidentally snap them off. I have left mine looking odd, because I'm likely to accidentally break them off.
