TF:Prime 1st edition Officially cancelled for the U.S

Not wanting to flog a dead horse here, but I got my email from TFSource offering me an TF:Prime RiD Optimus instead. I don't reckon I'll be taking them up on their offer, but am wondering if anyone else has?

Nah that thing is butt ugly, sorry. If I couldn't get FE OP and BH I decided I wouldn't collect any of the TFPrime toys. Thankfully I managed to acquire them from an ebay seller just before he jacked up the price by double!

Anyway I cancelled that pre-order (for RID OP) but went through with the deluxe RIDs simply because I wanted Wheeljack and Soundwave.

Ah nuts. I've been so out of touch due to getting a bit jaded with the release schedule that I ignored all news. Now I see that the First Edition figures are totally different to the RiD ones. ARGH!

I bought First Edition Optimus from ebay the instant I read the news about them not going to retail. I'm glad I did - I got a good deal a couple of weeks ago, compared to the prices now. Still not too late to get a bargain though.

Optimus is brilliant btw!
