Never knew we got the UK comics here, I just assumed the UK one was, well available in the UK only. I know Straxus, Impactor, Drift and Rung are all IDW creations are Devcon and Daniel Witwicky Marvel creations?

Oh, just remembered Daniel is Spikes annoying kid. I try to ignore him when watching G1.

Straxus was Marvel US, Impactor was Marvel UK, Drift is IDW, Rung was from fanfic, Devcon was from the Sunbow cartoon and Daniel was from Transformers: The Movie.

Yep thats why. He first appeared in the uk tf comic. To us he is a transformers character. Who just ended up with a life in other marvel comics.

Marvel UK comics were my entry point to being a comic book fan and the main reason why I'm still in this fandom today. We got lots of UK stuff: Classic Heroes, Action master elites, Turbomasters, Axelerators, Motorvators, Lightformers. Basically if something is described by US sites as "UK only" we probably got it here. Yay Commonwealth!

Now Marvel, how about a Circuit Breaker revival?

I remember the UK TF Comic at my local newsagency as a kid in the 80s. I used to think it was bloody violent compared to the animated TF series, especially if the Wreckers were involved

Yeah given Jhiaxus and Nightbeat are repaints, I think Death Head is for me the most exciting TF related release they showed at the toy fair.

Because it was! the Uk gave us 2000AD and a whole lot of other comics that were stranger, or darker than their US cousins, and Transformers was the same.

I kind of miss it, the amount of times Galvatron or Megatron put his fist through someone, or ripped their head off, good times (unless you were facing of against them).

^This. I collected all my G1 comics (both US and UK) from newsagents until about 1990 when I discovered comic book stores and the awesomeness of having a standing order (meaning that I wouldn't miss out on issues if I wasn't able to make it to a newsagent in time before they sold out, which was hard for the UK issues because they were weekly). Although comic stores only ever stocked the US comics, so I still had to rely on newsagents for my fix of UK comics.

So this guy appears only in the UK versions of the comics right? I kinda don't recall reading about him, mebbe I missed it or something. Coz, I certainly don't get the hype about the figure. .... I'm still waiting for an official Car Arcee for Generations though, not a bike , not anything else...

With this figure coming out though , I wonder if a Devcon figure will be made as well - or mebbe a recolour of some mold.

Yep, only the UK comics (113-120, 133-134, 146-151 if I recall correctly) before going on to his own series and a very few US Marvel appearances in the 80s, before making a coming back in the last few years in regular Marvel (Sword, Iron Man) series.

I thought DH was used quite well I the Iron man arc. I would like to see more of him (and Deaths Head II) in marvel comics (if not there own)
