Encore Sixshot & MP Sunstorm

I'm surprised this hasn't been posted already considering how many G1 lovers there are here.

The Takara/Tomy MP11s Sunstorm will be limited to a 1000 pieces for Japan and a larger scale release for Asia. No information on a western version at this time. This rare seeker will be packaged in the traditional black MP box and is set for July/August release date at 12000 yen ($150USD)! The Encore release of the Decepticon six changer, Sixshot, will also be packaged in a Movie MP styled box with a view window. It is reported to have a "premium leather material finish". Currently scheduled for a July 2012 launch date, it also has a 12000 yen ($150USD) price point.

Both figures will support the Takara collector coin giveaway that started with MP Rodimus.

oooh Sixshot ei? ive only heard from the Parra fair about Sunstorm and well, Im not really fussed over him but I willl get him and Sixshot Mine has these initials "carved" on the toy , whichthough not obvious is kinda well, lessens my excitement for it, hopefully that price remains as predicted since we all know how pricy Sixshot reissues can get. Long live Encore!

I think releasing a Sunstorm MP is actually really cheap of Takara/Tomy, yet another seeker repaint. They should be making more new molds to expand the line.

Very pleased to hear Sixshot will be coming out, not after him personally but with the prices the G1 version fetches on the secondary market it should make a lot of collectors happy to get a minty fresh figure at a decent price.

you mean 4 more, since there's that flying wolf thing 7th attack mode they showed in the "poorly dubbed" cartoons ... or just one to keep sealed in a box heheheh

I may be tempted by this Sunstorm. It would be a good way to experience the new MP Seeker mold without having to buy another MP Starscream, Skywarp or Thundercracker.

Someone at the fair said that it would be cool if he comes with a flaming cape - I would agree.
