Astrotrain has its flaws, but it's LOADS better a toy than Blitzwing! I'd rather have a mediocre Deluxe than a crappy Voyager.
I'd love a modern Astrotrain toy with a steam locomotive alt mode. None of this bullet train crap.
I'd honestly just like to see a regular modern electric train. Bullet trains and steam locomotives are exotic attention-drawing trains. I'd love to see just a regular train that doesn't draw any attention to itself - a true robot in disguise. Some of my favourite train-moded TFs are Getsuei (freight locomotive), Kaen (heavy shunting locomotive), Seizan (non-bullet train high speed express locomotive), Suiken (express locomotive), Joe (express) etc., but I'd really just like to see a plain regular passenger train. Hasbro reckons that trains don't sell as well in their markets, but come on... as if kids don't love trains! And they would love buses and taxis too... if only Hasbro would just make them. They'd certainly sell better than stuff like this IMHO.

For a regular TF electric train in Melbourne that blends in with all the other trains, it'll have to have graffiti all over its shell (idiotic kids). Expect to be train surfed on a regular basis (more idiotic kids). Aircon doesn't work during summer. The lingering smell of BO. Spends a fair amount of time in the maintenance yard. And the big one: never runs on time.I'm sure I've missed some points as I don't use public transport all that often. Have guess why.
^lolol.Sydney trains would be almost the same, although without as much graffiti (but if there were interior sculpted seats, every third one would need to be cut up
).
TakaraTOMY would likely base it on a Japanese commuter train, so it'd be the complete opposite of everything you just said.![]()
