Pick one Hasbro! This is no time to listen to that little Mexican girl's advise!
Hasbro's been doing this for about 10 years now! I first noticed it with their Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Preview figures. But yeah, I totally agree with your sentiment. Do one or the other! Preferably taped as it's easier to remove and friendlier for people who might want to display their toys loose on card. Although glued is better for store security against shoplifters I suppose.

I never remember it being so bad though. These CW Legends figures had the glued parts taped over! Why the need to double up in the first place?

Yeah, it's frustrating when you want to support local retail, but distribution is so unreliable that you have little other reliable recourse than to shop online. I've been finding myself doing more online shopping in the last 2 years even though I'd much prefer in-store buying. I feel your pain, bro.

For a long time now, Transformers have been nearly non-existent in the toy isles. I think all the over stock of dodgy movie stuff that was so slow to move may have done considerable damage and made retailers shy of re-ordering Transformers. They probably see it all as 'Transformers' so they don't understand the differences between lines (movie and generations) or they directly associate them with the movies so they don't care about stocking them in a non-movie year.

It's a shame, and with what I heard I might not even get all the Combiner Wars released this year from local retail. And it's a real shame since Online Shopping is more expensive!
I'll update this when I'm needing help finding particular figures

How much did you pay for him? Local retail or more expensive?
