Oh they have sealed copies? Thought all games were opened and discs put away behind the counter?

Because they don't take no for an answer.

If I say I don't want to preorder anything at the moment, that should be it.
That doesn't mean they keep going, talking over me.

If I have to go to what I perceive as the thin-edge of rudeness, just to try and move past the barrage, multiple times in a row, over years, I don't want to shop there, and don't want to give them my money to encourage them to continue these practices. I walked out of there frustrated too many times.

If I nicely a say I'm a casual gamer, and am only after the game in my hands, that should be it. I don't want to give my life story every time. Empty shop and it still takes about 10 minutes to finish the transaction? Screw that.

Can you imagine trying to buy a Masterpiece Huffer at Toys R Us, only to have the checkout clerk start asking you if you wanted to preorder the new season's Barbies, then the new Speak N Spell, then the new line of little rubber animals? 'I only want to buy this Huffer. I'm only interested in Transformers, and just want this one.'

'But we're also getting Barbie's new season outfits. They fit any Barbie doll with a tag that*'

    'NO!!!'

They do that with the shelf copies, however when they release new games, they tend to order in bulk, they leave seal copies in the store room, and when you request them to check for you, they usually come back with a seal copy. Games that have been out for more than 6 months are harder to find sealed, but might get lucky if you ask.

Picked up Tales of Xillia Day One Edition, I'm disappointed that Australia is the only country that didn't get free DLC codes with the purchase while every other country did. Never the less it's a enjoyable game like Tales of Graces, though Milla's voice actress is annoying.

One of the many reasons this dlc cancer needs to go.

I caved and spent $20 on a code from the UK which worked. But i'm pissed off that namco bandai would exclude Australia in getting the same content that is released worldwide.
