Millennium Case
they are like the CD case i have not seen them in stores for a long time and not sure if you can buy them from the site unless its in bulk...
Cheers.
I came across Mill Case's site last night, funnily enough. They're too pricey, unfortunately. Pity, as the cases look quite good.
How much did King's Comics sell them for?
I think it was around 36-40 dollars for a pack of 5 or 6, cant remember, I initially picked them up for a few hand drawn sketch covers to protect them and I ended up with around 30 of them currentlly with a lot of DW and IDW incentive covers
it's a shame there isn't more hard covers on the market that are affordable... I would store half my comics in them!!
I'm looking into purchasing comic boards and bags as an alternative to cases, and I see King's Comics have a few different sized bags.
As I'm no expert with this sort of thing, which size bag should I get? Current Size Comic Bags, Golden Size Comic Bags, or Silver Size Comic Bags?
I'm guessing Current Size Comic Bags is the one to go for.
(I should point out that the boards and bags will be for my Voltron and Transformers comics)
Depends on what you want.
Regular trade paperbacks fit perfectly into silver size bags (which are also great for storing story arcs. And of course perfect for silver age comics)
I use mostly those. Easier, and I don't have to scramble for individual issues as much, and it's great protection for my tpbs, from uv etc.
Golden size ones are perfect for hardcovers, like the standard Marvel releases, a normal size hardcover with you know, 6 issues or so.
If you want to store them separately, and they are from the mid 1970's onwards, current size is what you want. Boards are one size anyway.
It really depends on how you prefer to store them.
EDIT: Current size ones are perfect for Voltron and Transformers, other than TF UK issues, obviously.
Current Size Bags it is then. Cheers.![]()
Bags and boards, and they'll have boxes too. They're sized perfectly for comics. There's short and long.
I prefer short, as they're strong enough to stack anyway, and I can fit more in a shallow cupboard that way (or under my bed :S )
The boxes are cardboard, but are surprisingly strong and resilient.
Will be getting boxes too.
Apart from King's Comics, are there any reliable Aussie-based online stores you know of where I can purchases the bags, boards, and boxes from?
