Sounds like you're not making your port related beverages filthy enough and you're getting caught out. It is very much the Decepticon in that regard, make your drink more feral and you'll be less likely to succumb to it's powers of evil.
I must confess I haven't dabbled in ye olde Southern Comfort a great deal. I seem to remember having some combination with it that was overly aniseedy (not that aniseed is bad, although star anise can be an overly potent mofo when cooking) which put me off a bit but maybe I should revisit....Anyone tried the new Jagermesiter mixers? The Raw ones are pretty divine!
I might have to get some after work tomorrow everyone keeps saying they are good. I am on the Bundy OP Rum tonight got a bottle from duty free given to me aswell as a bottle of the jack Daniels 1915 gold medal which will not be cracked even though I want to try it
Had a go at pre-mixed bourbon and dry last night. Not bad... kind of tastes like ginger beer.
todays aim
defeat slab of jack
defeat 1/2 slab of cruisers for 'pres' before we go out (yes girly, aim is for 12 in less than an hour :P )(and yes, i will have been drinking all day but will still pre drink before i go out)
defeat club
live
looks like bourbon and dry is going to be my default drink now.. no ill-effects like I get from bourbon and coke.
Thanks to OTCA for keeping me drinking!!
I'm getting lazy. Bundy red pre-mixed is now my drink of choice. Bunny used to do a real nice super dry pre mix but they discontinued it around 2004... Yet I got one at Bon Jovi a couple of years ago...
HATRED FOR JAMES VAN DER BEEK RISING!
Still have some stuff for sale. Free pickup at Parra Fair

I spent $140 on 9 bottles of beer. Was it worth it? Hellz Yeah! Smallest was 400ml and not one under 6%. Can say for sure that I recommend Dark Hop: Hoppy Black Ale out of the lot I've tried so far but fair warning it is 8.5%
