最近日本に行ったとき、俺は一つの日だけでずっと一日中でトラフォのことやったばかりだった；（＾＿＾）あ の日で俺は他のファンたちと会って（初めてこの掲示板の「飛蝗への詩歌」氏を会った！）、みんなと一緒に色 んな玩具専門店に行って、飯も食べたし・・・ずっとトラフォのことばかりをしゃべったし・・・超楽しかった ！ 他の二週間はずっと妻と娘と旅行したんだ。スクリプト氏は今回日本に行って、日本にいるファンたちと会うつ もりある？
When I was recently in Japan, I had just one day where I just did Transformers stuff; (^_^) On that day I met with other fans (I met Ode to a Grasshopper for the first time!) and we went to a couple of specialty toy stores, ate food... talked a lot about Transformers... heaps of fun! The rest of the fortnight I went travelling with my wife and daughter. Are you planning on meeting up with any fans in Japan?

I want to pick up another Valdigus and this time scourge - anything for me to be on the look out for?

Osaka: Den Den Town has Mandarake (Umeda & Grand Kaos), Jungle and Hero Gangu (where you can haggle! (this is a rarity in Japan; most prices are fixed)) )
Tokyo: There are Mandarakes in Nakano, Shibuya and Ikebukuro

Otherwise you can always check out the toy section at regular department stores or major electronics/camera store chains. And of course there's Toys R Us.

You can also find Yodabashi Camera almost everywhere. Have a fun trip! Really hope to return end of this year.

Meh, Osaka still has quite a bit of haggling opportunities for those who can. It is an old merchant center after all.

@Suspectimus Prime - if you're in Osaka over the weekend PM me and I'll try to make time to give you a TF shop tour if you want. Weekdays I have work and I'm a half-hour away from the city proper, so getting to the TF shops in time for them to still be open is tricky.
If not, the ever-awesome heroic_decepticon has a handy map or three that might help.

Thanks for these places man, I'll definitely snoop around these places when I'm there. We're only in Osaka for a day before heading straight to Sendai. My sister's been teaching English there since before the earthquake. Will be in Tokyo for 1-2 days before we leave. Doing a trip to HK and Macau before coming back!
