Nah that's just BBTS' early listing price. Look at MP-11S Sunstorm - they had him listed for preorder @ $249.99US, but that went down to $179.99US when it was actually released.

[edit] When they find out from TT how much it's gona retail for, they'll readjust their price accordingly

    From the BBTS listing -

"Please Note The current $159.99 price for Sideswipe is an estimate from BBTS, we anticipate the actual retail price will be lower. Once official pricing is confirmed, we will adjust to final pricing."

Hoping it's Soundwave, he was on their "to-do" list. Doubt it's Shockwave without the laser arm.

    Lambor looks kinda crap..
Which brings us to where we are today...

The head seems wrong for Galvatron.

Yeah, it kinda looks like it could be Soundwave (I hope it is!!) but it could be anyone I guess.

I don't mind the direction the MP line is going... kinda like what the "Classics" should have been: adult collector figs based on G1 cartoon/comic/toy counterparts (a little like MOTUC) with different sizes. More of a collector line, rather than a straight toy line at retail. I'm excited and I really hope it continues. I don't mind paying a little bit more to get these types of figures.

Certainly a long way from what the MP line was originally, As long as the price point reflects the smaller size and cheaper materials I can live with it but I don't get as excited about the MP line like I used to. I do still enjoy seeing what figures will be released but don't make the effort to buy these straight away anymore.
