Here's the list of Transformers I regretted buying immediately, in no particular order.

    G2 Obliterator Spark

I remember buying him when I was a lad back in 1999 from a Toyworld in Melbourne. I loved playing with him for about half an hour until this happened:

    I was devastated

    Universe Powerglide

I think the whole fandom should pretend he never happened.

    Classics Cheetor
I didn't need a worse version of one of my favourite childhood figures

    Animated Blitzwing
Can't pose him without falling over or a leg/wing or anything else popping off

...and when you do get him standing, he looks like some sort of cowboy with those unusual upper thighs.

    RotF Soundwave
I could never get him to transform into anything remotely resembling a satellite. Threw him into a box somewhere within 5 minutes of opening him.

    Titanium Megatron
Words can't describe how rubbish this figure is. Doesn't stand, doesn't look cool in robot or tank modes.

    Beast Wars Ramulus
An average figure that I've always hated since I was a kid. No idea why?

Not quite 10, but that's all I've got for now.

You ain't old, I'm an immortal and I come from the age of horse-back riding and good ol' three foot walking

But Cheetor as a childhood toy, dayum - at least you got a main character. One of the only official TFs I had in my youth was a BM Jetstorm, had no idea who he was and no idea why he looked like an alien jet.

Btw, those unusual leg things you talk about are known as CHAPS, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaps - thank American Pickers for that bit of knowledge

He said 'I didn't need a worse version of one of my favourite childhood figures'.

Beast Wars Cheetor was a childhood toy, not Universe.

(We're still old timers by comparison, just not that old.)

Don't really understand why Animated Blitzwing is copping so more flak in this thread.

I really enjoyed this figure, it was actually one of my favs in the Animated line. My first Animated fig (I think..), had zero of the QC issues mentioned by everyone else, has a decent flight mode (minus the tank kibble), and an awesome tank mode (I really liked Metal Slug in HS).

If you bought the Hasbro Animated Blitzwing then it was misassembled: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radico...error-fix.html And have a look at the tabs where it locks in in tank mode. If (again) yours is from Hasbro and it doesn't have any plastic stress like on the left in Goktimus's post here then it's miraculous.

I'm 22 at the moment, so I guess I'm still young compared to the average Transfan.

Sky Shadow's right on the money, BW Cheetor was my childhood toy. I remember calling literally dozens of retailers when I was in the 2nd or 3rd grade, trying desperately to find a Cheetor that my aunty could buy for my birthday. Definitely one of my fondest memories.

You must be close to my age Skywarp, if you were playing with a BM Jetstorm!

I don't recall any stress marks on the fig, and I did transform it a few times. I'm heading back to Sydney this weekend and may dig it out to have a look (needing to dig out another fig for a personal project/obsession). Thanks for the link!

Loved BW Cheetor as a kid! It was my very first BW fig and I transformed him a bajillion times! Never had any issues with the ball joints degrading. Plastic from that era was awesome.
