Looks like the GT-R may be an RID Prime tribute. That killed it for me.

Yep, I'm with you on this. I'll pass up all the store ones here and get those instead. I'm just not too sure of the large figures though, I might just get silverbolt as he's the closest to the original G1 figure. I'm starting to not like onslaught as much anymore, and powerglide, errmm, I dunno, the chest engines still put me off.
The bt wouldn't be that "star convoy" fellow would he?

Those new Henkei cars are a must get. The proportions on the GTR look fairly good, really like how the doors sweep upwards. Definitely silver and black for this one even if I have to do it myself.
Having a closer look at the relative scale of the Alternity GT-R it appears that it is almost deluxe sized.I was hoping that the mention of it being a spin-off of the BINALTECH line meant that it got it's own continuity kinda like Kiss Pla. $50 is pretty steep for a deluxe.
Which brings us to where we are today...
Where is everyone getting prices from? Alternity deluxes at 50 bucks? I highly doubt that. I'd think more to the point of henkei price points for deluxes unless it contains diecast and junk.
fantofan.jp says the price will be 4725Y, and mentions that the toys have movie style automorphing.... it still seems like a high price, perhaps the cost of licensing the model?
Those shiny/chromed Japanese Classic Sunstreaker and Prowl leave the bland and horrible Hasbro ones for dust. Definatly going to skip the American ones in favour of importing, though it does mean I may have to get some of the Japanese Classics v1 to display them all together .. Those pictures even have me wanting USA Edition Powerglide and Silverbolt who I was going to skip...
The Nissan looks hot and I hope that they are more complex than movie deluxes, espy since they are BT priced. Can't wait for more information.
Thundercracker lookd great, another reason to ditch the original MP Stars.
