Well as for buying TFs at cheaper prices there's those Collectible Fairs there in Melbourne which is a quarterly thing. Wait til some of the Melbourne guys see your thread they might PM you or respond here. I believe they also have lunch meets but Im not sure if that's still ongoing thing. Enjoy the forums
