Robot Master Victory Leo has similar engineering to the G1 figures, but at a smaller scale and cheaper price. The main difference is that the inner robot doesn't have the Brainmaster partner that comes out.

I've been wanting this for a while - it seems to stand well with Classicsverse characters. How does it feel in-hand?

He's just under 13cm, including the antennae... so he's shorter than most Deluxes, but taller than a Scout. But the very G1 aesthetic kinda clashes with the more contemporary look/feel of Classicsverse.

Can't seem to find any on ebay save one black version that goes for $300....

The black one's a limited eHobby exclusive which came in a 2 pack w/ a black, purple and gold repaint of RM Victory Leo. The set originally sold for 3360JPY ($41). The regular RM Star Sabre was available either individually for 1480JPY ($18) or you could get the RM Victory Sabre set for 2900JPY ($36). I went with the latter.
