Fansproject Warbot Assaulter Prototype Photos

The Fansproject community site FansProjectCore has posted the first prototype photos of Warbot Assaulter. Linework was only recently revealed, and a rendering on the Core shows that this is indeed an homage to the triple-changer G1 Broadside. The photos reveal robot mode, one of presumably two vehicle modes, and size comparisons with the Assaulter's Warbot comrades, Defender and Steel Core.

Jet mode looks pretty cool. I'm not completely sold on this yet.

Really enjoy Assaulter's size and bulk, he's going to look magnificent in colour!

Steel Core came out different to what I expected, but he'll be bought anyways.

You can see how the 3rd mode will go, I think the legs will fold back up the other way.

A little off topic, sorry, but as good as Assaulter looks, I'm still don't think I'm willing to bite.

On the other hand...if they were to do a Decepticon Triple Changer -- Astrotrain and/or Blitzwing? I'd be all over that!
