If I can recall, He originally planned to make a limited production of this gestalt for various interested parties. If I'm right, Liokaiser was his favourite G1 Character (besides Soundwave) but he never could actually get his hands on one - so he built this one instead. He was hoping to swap his custom for an actual G1 Liokaiser at Botcon 2007 (or something like that) but that never took place so he's been slowly collecting the various components of Liokaiser instead. Word back then was that Wheeljaxx was going to kitbash a couple & stop at that.
I hadn't heard much more about Wheeljaxx's Classic Liokaiser since then... (I can also recall that he was planning to make a Classics Deathcobra too
