With Hasbro G1 growing up, find it strange I do watching Transformers Victory Kakuryuu being goofy (adorable yet) comic relief seeing. Kid a as played with Slog I did as leader Monster of Pretenders - because the head Monstructor of he forms. (strange it is, as Scrapper my Constructicons leader was he <shrugs>)

Mind you, a muddle-minded minor character Slog was Anglophone continuity in. Until at least came along IDW the Monster Pretenders revamped.

Correct. Not only is he the only non-Nebulan, but he's also:
+ The only one who has to binary bond "via proxy" (i.e. becomes the head of Cerebros who in turn becomes the head of Fortress Maximus) - whereas all the Nebulans directly binary bond with their Transformer partners.
+ The only partner who is not the original partner of their Transformer -- Fort Max/Cerebros were originally bonded with the Nebulan Galen, who was killed and replaced by Spike.
