'Cruise' mode looks to be the weakest, sort of a cross between a vaguely Tidal-Wave-esque carrier, a pontoon, and the SDF-1 from Macross. So, you know, very 'Cybertronian' alt-modes.

It does look like the robot lying down with his arms stretched forward, but all good as long as it doesn't hinder the two other more important modes.
Two robot modes? Looks more like just two different head sculpts (IDW and the red face from G1 cartoon).
