Being behind can be a good thing -- Hercules has dropped to a price that's a tad more affordable, $455 shipped instead of the $600 you would have initially paid, whilst Maketoys Green Giant has kept at the same price, $395 shipped (from the same seller).

True, but hopefully he is not almost twice as big ... because to me I'd feel it won't be a good "fit" with my classics stuff.

Now we just need third parties to do more Autobot combiners.

Wait until you see the KO oversize Hercules figures.

I agree. After the excellent work they did with Cyclops and Screecher, I'm surprised this robot mode, aside from the gun/wings, looks unlike either of the IDW drawings (I prefer Guido Guidi's ) -- and that's ultimately what we're paying for.

CG pics of this guy have been kicking around for a while I think, so it may in fact pre-date some of their more recent designs.

So far I'm not a huge fan either, mostly because his torso seems a bit too bulky, and his legs a bit too thin.

I think it's been re-purposed into Nova. I read somewhere that it was originally intended to be Prima, hence why the wings have been added on recently.

Personally I think they should start from scratch.
