The teaser image mentions 'bestiality' and I think someone who had or claimed to have inside information said it had been confirmed to them that Ares is Predaking.

I had that silhouette mentally pinned as not-Abominus from all the teasers from last year. Really like what MMC is doing with Predaking at the moment, and I can't see much else TFC can do to change my mind (other than major changes to their combiner aesthetics) even if I had not pre-ordered already.

I'm not a fan of TFC's stuff so don't follow news about them but from what I gathered the general consensus is that Ares is Cybertronian mode Predaking.

Take from that what you will. Personally I think it's a pretty dumb move business-wise. We already have 2 Predakings coming out, one is a classics aesthetic, the other an articulated G1. Between these 2 99.9% of the market is covered. With these options who is going to fork out ~$500 for a Cybertron-TFC style Predaking?

I actually thought she was a complete prank, but my lord, that first pic completely wins me over. Perfect timing too, I've been edging on caving in and buying a Delicate Warrior - second release without the heel issues. Love how this looks feminine yet strong enough to stand/pose properly.

Glad they didn't go with that emasculated grin she gets when she goes on her killing spree
