IMO the best thing about going to any Transformers meet, local, interstate or international, is socialising with fellow fans. Sure, getting toys is good too -- but interaction with fellow fans is always the highlight of any meet for me.

I'm an ESL teacher and I live here. So, basically it's work for me.
The cheap/abundant beer, easy-to-find/cheap TFs, and pretty women help keep me here too of course, but I'm mostly here to do my job.
