Takara MP-03 re-release?
Hey guys,
Just wondering if you guys know whether this dude (Takara MP-03 Starscream) is being re-released?
Just noticed a whole bunch of them on ebay.com, esp sellers from HK.

I don't know but I suspect it might've been a result of the fact taht w/ the Hasbro version, the MP03 has just entered forgotten status. He was for awhile a toy that was a compromise - you got it only if you could tolerate the paint job. It's the one MP I will never have. I love the box but that's about it.
I suspect down the line Takara may yet re-issue him w/ better paint apps but that could be some time away. I'm pretty sure the next MP will be a new mould (well, that's what I said about MP07 too) so it'll at least be MP09 though I think a perfect MP-Convoy w/ Roller can't be too far behind in that queue too.
Collection Count (w/ a 12.42% upsize): 3053
New Family Members: DA-15 Jetwing Prime, DOTM Leader Ironhide, Perfect Effect Reflector, DOTM Shockwave & Skyhammer, eHobby United 3-packs
Current Desires: Japanese BW Optimal Optimus
The Holy Grail: Ultmetal Optimus Prime

This toy has already been released 3 times.
+ MP Starscream ("Greenscream")
+ Hasbro MP Starscream
+ MP Starscream "USA Edition."
...that's plenty IMO. :P

Haven't heard of an offical re-release. Considering MP-07 Thundercracker is coming soon I don't think a release now would make sence. But I have been wrong before.

being rarer doesn't necessarily mean being more valuable. I see Hasbro's version (and the USA Edition) becoming more valuable in the future because there's this thing called demand.
Bumblejumper is really rare, but not as valuable as you'd think because there's relatively little demand for that toy (especially before DW retconned him as an official character in retro-G1 continuity ;p)

Actually, BJ isn't _that_ rare. I mean, he ain't common, but he's far more common than some of the Actionmasters and most later Japanese G1 toys.
For a Minibot, he's rare.
Eagerly waiting for Masterpiece Meister
