What are your remedies for colds and flu?

Dr Tets recommends lots of rest and water. Spend a couple of days bumming around at home sleeping as much as you feel the need too. Drink bucket loads of water and you should be able to whack it on the head.

I personally avoid cold/flu tablets because they make me feel fine, and I go out and do stuff, without ever getting over the flu, so I stay sick. Well, I used to.

I personally try and sweat it out with light exercises.

Plenty of bed rest, drink lots of water, vitamin C, and a stack of good (or bad depending on your preference) movies and / or video games

I drink a bottle of scotch and then rug up. I generally feel shitty the next morning but for a totally different reason :P family thing is a shot of scotch, a shot of apple cider vinegar, a dash of lemon juice and a teaspoon of honey nuke it for 30 seconds then chug it and rug up. The common thing is sweating it out in most home recipes

If you feel it coming on, Vicks First Defense works wonders.

Tickle in the throat? Kirks Ginger Ale softdrink.

But yeah, like the others said, you can't go past resting up and drinking lots of water. You've just got to ride it out.

i rested, my medication must have been so strong i lost 2 weeks...
am still recovering from last fortnights mutations, but i have recently done my back in a bit. muscle pain and sand in mah lungs has made for an awesome time building Depthcharge with glue. So over it, but it won't leave me alone just yet. Another weeks recovery of day naps, snot face, coughing and drowning and i should be right. Putting up a fight... I coughed on Sunstreaker enough, he should have the t-virus by now.
Laaah. But what i found helped me were hot showers, those common cold/flu tablets, tissues, sleep and sun. I had some strange feverish days.
    Fabric glue might also help...
