Default Wreckers vs Anti-wreckers (for lack of better names)

Thought we could have a bit of fun with an idea i've been toying with.
What is your wrecker-esk (autobot and decepticon) team?
    Here are the rules:

    1. You must own the toys in your list/s.
    2. Must be a team of 6 bots.
    3. your team must include:
    - Leader (bonus points for originality)
    - Scientist (someone skilful) Can be a Tech specialist.
    - Fast support
    - Heavy Support
    - 2x infantry (general troops)
    4. Leaders can NOT be a typical leader ie; prime, megatron, rodimus, galvatron, magnus, etc. Though they can be used in other roles.
    5. Combiners are allowed (as 1 bot only) only as heavy support. Though you can use individual bots as pleased.
    6. City bots not allowed nor is Primus or Unicron.
    7. You must give reasons why you picked each member of the team, ie; a blurb kind of thing of why that have that role. (see below)
    8. not a must, but what are your teams names?

Notes: Pics of your group/s are not mandatory, though bonus points for them (refer to rule 1, so should be to hard to take a pic or 10 :P)

Bonus points for an original team, obviously there will be crossovers but the more original the better

Figures can be from any toy line.

    Including 3rd party figures.

More rules/notes will be added as feedback is received to smooth it out

I'll start things off with my two teams.

    Autobots:

    Team Name: The Steel Core

Leader: Steelcore - Steel, a mercenary from cybertron with his mighty armour, the core becomes. Steelcore. His wise leadership skills and fierce combat skills make him a worthy leader.

Scientist: Vector Prime - The guardian of space and time, an age old autobot with a knowledge of the multiverse.

Infantry: Rodimus - A skilled all round tactical warrior, good for all situations.

Infantry: Bulkhead - A powerful rough and ready solider, loyal to his command and comrades.

Fast Support: Drift - A violently fast and skilled warrior that can move in and out of battle leaving destruction behind him, barely being seen.

Heavy Support: Grimlock - One of the most powerful bots around, though sometimes a little thick. He comes in very handy in a tough situation.

    Decepticons:

    Team Name: Storm Bringers

Leader: Hailstorm - An insane leader, small but capable and willing to die for his cause. Destruction.

Scientist: Lockdown - A rogue bounty hunter, with high lever mechanical and psychological skills.

Infantry: Lugnut - An extremely strong and devoted warrior, sometimes somewhat too much.

Infantry: Scorponok - A powerful and deceptive warrior. To skilled to do away with though.

Fast Support: Starscream - With his lightning fast speeds he is too hard to catch for any autobot, except maybe drift. Though always Challenging Hailstorms command.

Heavy Support: Galvatron - His memory re-formatted after the great wars, he now fights loyally along side of the storm bringers leaving a wake of peril and destruction behind him.

Nice idea, though I'd divide my 6 bots a little differently. As the Wreckers are crack commandos I don't see a Scientist having a permanent role on their roster. maybe a tech specialist, a sharpshooter on the other hand is right up the Wreckers alley, though they would all be good shots really.

I'd divide my team as follows:

(Original Wreckers given as example only).

    Squad leader (Impactor)
    point man/reconnaissance (Whirl)
    armorer/weapons specialist (Roadbuster)
    shock trooper (Topspin)
    demolitions (Twintwist)
    infantry (Rack and Ruin)

    Optional :
    sharpshooter
    tech specialist

Now I just need to figure out my own personal team.

    OOhh nice!

Well, as for me ill post pics once my camera battery recharges
For now here's my ideas. Sans the pics for now

Decepticon Equalizer Armed Terrorist Hit Squad (D.E.A.T.H. Squad)

Leader/ Head assassin/Tactician - Banzaitron - Inspired by his former mentor/rival Bludgeon, Banzaitron developed his own deadly skills and tactical mind thru hard training ang several calculated enhancements ( somewhat mirroring Bludgeon's). His pursuit of a higher position in the heirarchy has not gone unnoticed by the decepticon liege and has rewarded him with a higher rank and troopers under his direct command for "special" missions. Now he has the troops to carry out his viciousness to an even more higher level.

Scientist/Interrogator/hacker/ weapons procurement/ enhancement officer (secondary commander) Lockdown -

an equally amoral 2nd in command , albeit his loyalty is all for a price, his knowledge and skills in vivisection, upgrading, weapons identification and information gatheringas well as other unmentionable skills has earned him his place in the specialist unit under Banzaitron... only his fear of permanent termination from his current superior officer keeps his greed and disloyalty in check. Banzaitron on the other hand keeps a close eye as well as favors him due to the free upgrades Lockdown is able to provide from readily available "resources" during and post missions

    Weather Warrior/ Interceptor/ Air support/ Recon - Acid storm -

Few may know, but he has a brilliant mind yet his antisocial behavior has kept him from achieving great rank among the heirarchy, he is however a very capable and deadly warrior, fast as his seeker origins and with a mostdamaging capability in weather manipulation which remains largely untapped... until now that Banzaitron has noticed... Acid storms keen sense of delivering his weather manipulation to its utmost damage earns him quite in good favor with his leader, as long as he delivers...

Heavy artillery/Heavy Support/Demolitions/ Mobile command/ Supply and Personnel Transport - Tidal Wave -

A behemoth of massive firepower, provides the group ready transport and mobile base of operations. His ability to split also adds an invaluable support in both offensive and logistics tactics which Banzaitron effectively puts to his advantage... has enough room to store vast amounts of supplies (energon et al) needed by the group in cases of prolonged conflict or extended missions. His strength and size also comes in handy in just bashing the enemy in case they sic a combiner at the group as he is more than a match. Also despite his size he is non too bright and is easily swayed to obey a superior officer, even though truth be known he can just stomp on anyone who gets in his way Banzaitron seems able to boss around easily the fearsome giant.

    Infantry - Runamuck and Runabout - Shock troopers/ terrorists/interceptors/ scouts/ spies.

Just point in which direction and who you need harassed and these boys will set about it in full gear. Their bullying tactics on and off the road are what Banzaitron uses them primarily, but mostly extra hands for manual work as well as scape goats - hehehe every good decepticon leader has someone to slap around. Fast and dangerous the duo though is easily distracted, albeit easy to keep back on track ... just remind them of the pain their leader will surely inflict them if they fail and that'll get them back in line easy as.

If it weren't for the 2 shocktroopers I wouldve named it the Green Hit Squad . But, I couldn't find suitable green warriors to fit the bill - replace those two, so I'll stick with the name for name and the current line up. Plus I wanted to use characters not so peripheeral but at the same time not so much in the spotlight.
Wanted AM partner Vanguard, Myclones Dirge, G1 Victory Leo, e-hobby Dark scream ( the black version), e-hobby Magnificus
Parts- AM partner Basher-side guns, G1 Actionmaster Elite Windmill's blades[I][B]

This is a great and fun idea. Have to put my team together soon. Waiting on a couple of members to arrive though. Would be good to make a hybrid team so we could include decepticons and autobots in one team. Are we accepting custom figures? If so to what extent, eg repaint to full on kitbash or 'from scratch'

    Meet THE SLAGGERS

This is such a fun idea but so many choices! Decided to limit myself to Gen 1 cartoon Decepticons. Will put up a photo when I have time to dig through all my TF crates to find them Think I will have to do another one across the TF multiverse (Well done Liegeprime for thinking of Tidal Wave - wish I had!)

Leader/Military Tactician – Onslaught- A brilliant tactical mind who is able to come up with detailed and deadly battle plans. If called in to battle himself has great strength and firepower as a robot and able to launch long range attacks as a missile trailer.

Scientist/Medic – Swindle- A munitions expert who is able to procure and supply (for a price) all manner of devastating military hardware. Also has a firm grasp of Transformer physiology and able to serve as a medic for the team.

Heavy Support – Predaking- The most powerful of the G1 Gestalts: Incredible strength, firepower, razor-sharp instincts and fighting skills as well as the power of flight.

Fast Support/Surprise Attack – Skywarp- Able to fly with the speed of a fighter jet and teleport at will to any place on the battlefield. Able to appear where needed most in split seconds, providing quick back-up where needed as well as deadly surprise attacks.

    2 x Shock Troopers – Blitzwing & Shockwave
    - Blitzwing with both ground and aerial offensive transformations makes the perfect shock trooper. Also armed with both firepower and sword is an excellent combatant in robot mode.
    - Shockwave has enough devastating firepower to take on any opponent, the physical strength to go toe-to-toe with a Prime and the logical capabilities to assess the battlefield situation he is in and use both his and Blitzwing’s skills to maximum effect.

    read above post ^^^ :P

They aren't meant to be "wreckers" but a team made to stated format, just for something different. Scientist is again a general term so if you wish to have a Tech specialist that's fine as long as you follow the rules

Sure they do! Every time I play Fall of Cybertron I find it useful using the Scientist Class characters to... ya know... do science stuff. I'm by no means a flying field medic -- you'll thank us when we find the elusive cure for Gold Plastic Syndrome!
