Autobot team - the Elite Guard
Everyone agrees that staying and guarding the base is an important job that requires a very special team of Autobots, but what happens when a 'bot wants to just chill at home and enjoy some peace and quiet? When 'bots like Optimus Prime can handle guarding the base themselves, it's time to call on...The Elite Guard! From acquiring much-needed supplies of camouflage paint to retrieving pots of gold at the ends of rainbows, no seemingly mundane task is too difficult for the Elite Guard.
Leader: Sentinel Prime (Animated)
As a trusted officer with extensive training experience, only Sentinel Prime could possibly be relied upon to turn this elite squad of up-and-coming young 'bots into the Autobot Heroes they are undoubtedly destined to be.
Coincidentally, his new nickname of "Babysitter Prime" is cruel, misleading, and obviously motivated entirely by jealousy.
Specialist (Survivalist): Wheelie (repurposed RotF Slap Dash)
An expert survivalist who demonstrates fearlessness, strong initiative, and a charming poetic streak, Wheelie brings both practical and literary skills to the team. Though his new body may appear intimidating, inside his revamped chassis his noble spark and keen tactical mind are the same as always.
Speedy warrior: Bumblebee (Animated)
Has the fastest mouth and wheels in the Autobot army (well, except for Blurr) - a vital asset to such an important team.
Heavy Warrior: Bulkhead (Animated, Leader-class)
Despite his great size and lack of grace, Bulkhead's gentle spark and selfless bravery is a credit to the Autobot ranks.
Grunts: Skids & Mudflap (RotF)
Sure, they might not be able to read, and they may seem a little, well, stupid, but these brave twins are tough and devoted to the Autobot cause. Ice-cream truck alt-mode comes in handy for the various human children that somehow always seem to end up tagging along with the group.
Decepticon Team - The Rolling Thunder
A fearsome squad of melee warriors with ground-based alt-modes. Also the first Cybertronian death metal band.
Leader: Nemesis Prime (RiD Scourge)
The fearsome dark clone of Optimus Prime, made using a modified version of the cloning machine from 'A Prime Problem'. Unfortunately, Tankor Octane was assigned to get the holoscan and had his thumb over part of the lens when he recorded the image, leading to a less-than-exact physical copy alt-mode- and shoulders-wise. Tanker trailer battle-platform mode gives the team added firepower and makes for awesome pyrotechnics during performances - this is one band that really does bring down the house!
Vocals.
Specialist (Chemist, Ninja, Vehicular Combat Specialist): Oil Slick (Animated)
A speedy ninja warrior with a knack for vehicle mode combat and a love of chemical warfare. Enjoys picking on Knock Out. Something of a loner.
Lead guitar.
Speed Warrior: Knock Out (Prime)
Smooth, suave, pretentious, and vain - very much the odd-'bot-out. More or less the team medic. As a lover of 'high culture' he prefers Classical music to Metal, but the others took his suggestions of a new musical direction...poorly. Utterly terrified of Oil Slick, friends with Breakdown, possible attraction to Nemesis Prime.
Plays keyboards, though trained on Cybertron as a classical pianist.
Heavy Warrior: Breakdown (Prime)
Big, strong, and likes hitting things - perfect for the team bruiser. Knock Out's only real friend in the team. Sometimes wishes he had an eyepatch or something so he could 'look cooler'.
Drummer.
Warrior: Bludgeon (RotF)
Enigmatic dark samurai. Expert in Metallikato and bladed combat.
Bassist.
Warrior: Skullgrin (Generations)
Calm and collected exterior masks his often barely-suppressed inner rage.
Rhythm guitar.
