Just got a notice form amazon again!! another item delayed !

Same here for my Gen. Metroplex.

The waiting doesn't bother me, i'll get them eventually. I'd me more frustrated if there was an item in my PoL that wasn't available, ala BTT.

I got exactly the same email as you Gok, so I sent an enquiry to Amazon asking if they had a more concrete date or just more information. When they replied, they offered to refund the shipping component (which really means not charging for shipping). Maybe it's worth trying the same thing? Still doesn't get the item here any sooner, and I'm getting a bad feeling that they simply fulfilled US orders and are just stringing me along but if/when they do get more stock it has reduced the cost dramatically.

Don't think this is the case as I have had my order fulfilled...just got this email this morning and they have debited my CC.

8th of August - email from BBTS apologizing but they don't have the Gaia Unicron that I put in my POL 5 damn months ago, and because of the mix up it will be an extra few days again before shipping

That's exactly what happened with my unreleased Movie Target Exclusives Gunbarrel, Reverb and Backtrack. BBTS sold the 3 for $100, and they lost Reverb. I got my money back and had to pay repurchase the lot for $150 on eBay

Currently shipped my first POL with BBTS (clicked ship about 2 weeks ago, still in warehouse), and had them verify the contents weeks in advance before shipping. Had quite a few sold out third party items there that I'd have to pay a ransom for on eBay. I'll be happy once my POL eventually gets here.

I think that's just Amazon's new overly conservative postage times. The base level shipping says 4-6 weeks, but I still get things in ~10 business days. I think they're just covering their arse/trying to encourage you to upgrade shipping.

Ah, Amazon's showing an October 8th release date now. Adding 30-40 days for 'shipping' would give you 7-17 November, assuming you picked standard postage.

I preordered my Metroplex from Amazon on July 8. The current status is "Shipping Now."
When I clicked on Track Package it says:
We've started preparing your shipment for delivery and it should leave our facility in the next few hours to a few days. We'll send you an e-mail once your order has shipped. The length of time your shipment spends in this status does not impact your delivery date.
