Got my second ever shiny*... Just cruising along in Y and got a random shiny Spritzee. Not exactly a shiny I'd have wished for, but sure beats the shiny bibarel I had in diamond!

* not counting the shiny noctowl and Gyrados from silver that you got no matter what!

There wasn't an 'always shiny' Noctowl in GSC.

Think you should make that a 3 count.

I got two in Y (clefairy and purple monkey) but only from friend safaris.

I think the encounter rate is boosted in FS though, especially when your friend is online.

I remember the Gyrados but not the shiny noctowl?

He must be so happy. I've only found 3 shinies in XY and one in HG. Shiny Clauncher and shiny (golden, hell yea) Magikarp from chain fishing, as well as a shiny Graveler I found while exiting Victory Road after training, which I master ball'd to be safe. I hatched a shiny Weedle via Masuda Method in HG. Events include Shiny Pichu (now Pikachu), Entei, Raikou, Suicune (all in multiples of 3). Got a cool Shiny Groudon for one of my spare Shaymin as well.

So much effort! I am struggling to find time to complete the Kalos dex, let alone the national dex!

Becauses I've never been able to get any of the friend safari zones to complete (get the third slot unlocked), or bothered to go online to load more friend codes off strangers who will never be online anyway, I will be hard pressed to get the FS exclusive pokemon anyway!

Yeah, I really only used FS to get some Dittos for breeding, otherwise meh. There's too many pokemon for me to be bothered catching them all anymore.

If any Melbournians are near the town hall on July 13th, the pokemon nationals are on, and it seems like one of the bonus items is a shiny mamoswine, only available there. Don't need to enter the comp, just be in the vicinity.

Friend safari requiring both parties friend codes suck. I've signed up to a friend safari reedit to try and get some more codes(pretty sure I've got all the ones here) but I have to hope that people whose codes I enter also enter mine! It's another one of the pokemon friend ideas that is a great concept (like entree) that just isn't worth the time to use unless you are at an event or have some other pokemon diehards as friends.

I hope the system is tweaked for ruby sapphire.

I got the fancy vivillon yesterday, saw japan is getting both the pokeball pattern and a shiny jiraichi! The only joy this brings me is the collective angst of pokemon fans who feel slighted.

My FC is 3754-7795-7796 if anyone wants to add (maybe pm me your FC and when you're on). I got ditto safari.
