Had a wonder around Target today looking for MP-04 so I could see what the box actually looked like but still none locally. Looked at the animated figures and picked up the only figure I haven't got on lay-by, Ratchet. Went to lock his hips in place and instead pushed them well past the locking clip, he's not broken thank goodness.

First up, couldnt help myself and wanted to get a taste of the Universe Classic 2.0 Ultra class. Big figures, worthy of their G1 resemblence.

Short review:

Bot mode Silverbolt, true to G1 and very detailed face. One of the best I have seen in recent bots. Transformation way too simple in 3 easy steps but a nice bot overall.

Bot mode Powerglide, much tighter joints, and more difficult level transformation. True to G1, and very detailed figure. At least its a new mold. Sure henkei is more true to the G1 colours but Hasbro has done well with this figure. Though something I am not sure about, if you lift up the chest, you see a heart symbol.. Is that kinda... ermm..... Just coz Powerglide fell in love in the animation, does that give him a heart?

Both figures are larger than the movie figures and are more scaled with Cybertron voyager class figures. Good price and good figures overall.



Next up, I did enquire about this with the board and no trades but these have arrived. Got them off a friend, MIB.

Didnt have the heart to apply the stickers ... Kept them in mint condition.

Thats it. Now but pockets are truly burnt out. Wont be buying much for a while.

I reckon the overlord is an all time favourite. Its got such great transformation and the bot modes looks awesome. Is there a city bot larger than Overlord outside of the 3 Maximus?
