As much as I'd love to see Galvatron, Cyclonus and Scourge given the MP treatment, I'm not sure they're that obscure. My vote would be for Reflector, to round out the early G1 cast a bit more.

If we are talking obscure cons, that we should see as masterpiece figures, in my list would be Reflector, because he appeared only briefly in generation 1. Also Slugfest and Overkill, the dino cassette minions of Soundwave would be hot right now !

They could extend the MP Soundwave line by releasing 3 new 2-packs:

*Overkill & Slugfest
*Sqwalktalk & Beastbox (only G1's Con cassettes I don't have myself yet)
*Ratbat & Wingthing

Extra points to Takara/Hasbro if Wingthing turns into a blaster and Sqwalkers and BBox combine!


Other obscure Con's? Hmmm, well Runabout only ever appeared in 1 episode of G1 and Runamuck 2 ep's which makes them almost as obscure as Overkill & Slugfest. They could be done in the same scale as the MP Autobots that they have been releasing lately. Another vote for Reflector right here as well If you want really obscure - then go the Deluxe Action Master 'Turbomaster'

Turbo Master gets my vote. And they could recolour the mould into Masterpiece Bruticus.

Reflector is the most ridiculously neglected Decepticon of the 1985/86 toy lineup. The guy's in the fricking first episode of the G1 cartoon and he hasn't been reissued in twenty-seven years.

And Action Master Thundercracker would be a better use of the Starscream mould than every single other piece of crap recolour they've ever done with it.

Cyclonus, Scourge. Scourge needs a good robot with a geewun alt mode. It would be very hard to do, but I reckon that TT could pull it off. Get Hasui back on MP for Scourge and Galvatron.

*I'm going by the Obscure Transformers Web Site's definition of "Obscure" which means that the character must not have appeared in more than one medium. Death Cobra's a good choice too.
