Transformers Prime VS Transformers G1

Putting side by side pics comparing TF Prime characters w/ their G1 counterparts. I've tried to pair as many of characters up with their G1 namesakes, with the following exceptions:
+ Bulkhead: no G1 namesake, but paired with Springer. Super Link Springer was named Bulkhead in Energon, and they're both also former Wreckers.
+ Airachnid: no G1 namesake, paired with Blackarachnia -- "nearest match"
+ Vehicon: no G1 namesake, paired with G1 Scourge/Sweep as they were the G1 equivalent of expendable Decepticon Gumbies
+ Nemesis Prime: no G1 namesake, paired with the duplicate Optimus Prime that Shockwave made and used against the Autobots (seemed appropriate)
+ Jack Darby: no G1 namesake, paired with Buster Witwicky; fellow high school boy who has an Autobot in his garage (Bumblebee for Buster, Arcee for Jack)
+ Miko Nakadai: no G1 namesake, paired with Jesse because... erm... well, there's no logical reason, but I thought it was less of a "bad match" than putting her with Carly, cos Miko's struggling to get through high school, while Carly won a scholarship to study science at a private university.
+ Raf Esquivel: no G1 namesake, paired with Chip Chase since they're both token Whiz Kids.
+ William Fowler: no G1 namesake, paired with Walter Barnett as they are both U.S. special agents who have to deal with Cybertronians.

This is awesome, something I never really thought about. Given me a hard nostalgia hit now. Time to run and go re-watch G1.
