Got this bad boy at like 10am this morning:

Seeker Aces: Transformers by Bidoofdude, on Flickr
4 Day shipping isn't bad. Good job RK. I'm impressed.

Also found it interesting that it says "distributed in Australia and New Zealand" on the bottom. Also added my Life as a Cassette as proof.

    Overall, AWESOME!!

That's impressive looking artwork. (I'm not going to buy that set just for the box though ) I wonder who drew it... looks kinda Yoshioka Hidetsuga-esque... but I don't think it's him. Definitely doesn't look like Tsushima Naoto's work (he did the packaging art for Henkei! Henkei! and the TF Animated manga).

I suspect that it's just a generic blurb that they print on toy packaging, as in the Transformers brand is distributed in Australian and New Zealand, and not necessarily the individual figures themselves. Like you might find the same blurb on Transformers Prime First Edition packaging even though Australia skipped that entire line. Also Australia and New Zealand don't always get the same thing -- sometimes we get stuff that they miss, and they get stuff that we miss.

    Yes, I guess so.
The art is very good, especially since the box is quite large (42cm long)
Unfortunately as of yet, I have to keep the box behind the insert (see my pictures in flickr) as it holds the gridded purple cardboard insert.

It's a very good set and it seems like I'm pretty much the second person to own one (not counting stores), besides that guy that posted box pics.
(unless those who have received it haven't shared it with the world- most likely)
I recommend it to anyone looking for cartoon accuracy or for the seekers they don't have. I'm quite tempted to get the coneheads for that art.
I don't have any coneheads yet so I think they would make a good edition.
thanks for the feedback Gok, appreciate it.

Just arrived in japan today (here for 1 week). Found Mandarake in akihabara and picked these up for fairly cheap. They didnt have any super rare stuff, rarest thing were a set of sealed red g2 constructicons that had "not for sale" on them. US/EU vintage TF stuff was overpriced.

They had a Diaclone Red sunstreaker for about $280 (c7 box), was tempting...

Was pretty cool to walk into one shop and have "Hunger" playing in the background

Did they have any Encore Omegas or Anime Galvatrons. My bro's heading over there so I might need to know.
Were prices quite reasonable for Jap stuff like encores, etc?

    Big day yesterday:

Giant's a great figure but some of the joints are super tight to the point that I'm worried about them breaking. My fingers are still sore from messing with him last night. Pretty pleased with Thundercracker too, the new design is a big improvement, though I still love my MP Skywarp. Sadly the head has paint chipping off after only one transformation. Will have to give it a few coats of clear and see if that improves its durability.

I think I'm going to have to find an MP-11 to complete my MP seeker set.

Don't worry, Giant shouldn't break Be gentle though, there are parts where you should hold down a button to release certain joints. Still cannot find a safe way to hold down the elbow buttons (for vehicle mode) without rolling around the floor wincing in pain afterwards. Also -> unlocking not-Hook's arms transformation for robot mode is major pain. Worth every bit of it though
