So sick and tired of these stupid iron man releases. I can understand the mk 4 5 6 7 etc but all these other ones that were in the movie for like 2 minutes is kinda shit.

btw celtic pred is up for pre order

People like the suits themselves, rather than their prominence in the film. Igor does look really good though.

Of the 'Iron Legion' suits, Igor is the only one I'm seriously considering getting. (I have Mk 42 and Iron Patriot on preorder.) I've briefly considered getting Silver Centurion, but probably won't. Heartbreaker and Red Snapper don't interest me that much.

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I recently got HT Black Widow. Here she is with a spare submachine gun I had around:

I also got a machine gun for my HT Barney Ross:

And finally, I recently did a kitbash on my Bond figure:

At the moment I've got the next Hot Toys 1989 Joker (Mime version), Sideshow Toys Snake Plissken (Escape from New York, Sideshow exclusive edition) and the die-cast Hot Toys RoboCop (1987 film obviously!) ordered, with Joker due in December, RoboCop due in March, and Snake in August.

Pleasantly surprised with the pics of the Sideshow Snake prototype.

They'll go nicely with the 89 Batman/Joker, and the Arnold T800s from T1 and T2. Much as I wanted, I couldn't justify the DX on the T800 owning the original.

All I can think of still buying (if they make it) is a Kyle Reese. I told myself when I first purchased a HT figure that I was going to have VERY strict rules about them (ie: no new properties, only ones I've loved for at least 10-15 years).

Default Kal El Reviews: Hot Toys MMS201 Jor-El (Man of Steel)

Video Review of Hot Toys MMS201 Jor-El from the 2013 Movie 'Man of Steel'.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpLia...O7P6ta0oxNwf9Q

With the first release from the Man of Steel line, Hot Toys has once again, done a fantastic job.
First things first, Jor-El does not photograph well, more specifically his head sculpt. The sculpt tends to appear very shiny and has a unnatural gloss. Also a distant stare which to some will be off putting. But in hand the sculpt is quite well done. The hair and imperfections are great.

The Suit and tailoring are fantastic, though I would have preferred a fully armoured version of Jor-El. Not only has he got a very well done set of robes and a brilliantly sculpted chest and shoulder armour piece which is a highlight of the figure. The figure also has a nicely pleated and wired cape. Under the robes is a fully Blue Kryptonian suit, Similar to the One the Kal-El wears minus the Symbol of the house of El. The robes are removable via a rear zip, though a advise great caution if doing so.

Articulation is Fairly good, ankles still function due to the flexibility in the under suit. And the Body has double jointed knees and elbows. The shoulder articulation is limited due to the armour but no major issue.

Accessory count is low but this is made up with the inclusion of a fantastic Flight stand in the shape of the shield of the house of El. Rather than the typical pole and clip the stand has a highly articulated metal pole in similar fashion to the articulated desk lamps. It is very strong and will easily hold standard 1/6 scale figures. The only issue with the stand is the size, it takes up most of a detolf shelf. It's around the same size as the new goblin stand. The figure also comes with standard assortment of hands and a nicely sculpted kryptonian rifle. Hot Toys also added the Kryptonian Codex from the film. The item was not in the original solicitations from Hot Toys so it's a nice addition and surprise.

The Jor-El figure is great and well worth picking up. Don't pass on it due to being released before Kal-El (Superman) or you may regret it later.
Hot Toys Have done a great job of capturing Russell Crowes likeness, It's well worth add to any collectors collection.

Lancalot - yeah, they're not the best pictures In all seriousness, I had considered getting a new body for that figure, as the current one is kind of scrawny. Don't know if I will, though...

Millhouse: If you wanted, I suppose you could get the grenade launcher and Gatling gun from the DX Arnold loose and put them on your MMS T2 Arnold (you'd probably need the gloved hands meant for holding the Gatling gun as well). I'd also like to get a new Kyle Reese or a new Hicks if HT get to make them - at least one of those two Michael Biehn characters

Gamblor: Nice acquisition! Is that box actually signed by Jordan?
