Thanks for all that guys, and I'm planning to go to the Parramatta fair this weekend hopefully tracking down some more Masterpieces but there wasn't much at the last show that interested me.

The Fair is good for people who are just starting out with TF collecting. For those of us who are long time collectors, we often don't find stuff we want. But the best thing about them is just meeting up and socialising with other collectors.

See you at the fair then. I find the MPs in the fair are kinda pricy though but you might be able to haggle it down. I know a few members here have been ogling at it for several fairs now ...... looking at you gdmetro

Unfortunately at the last fair I dealt with some rather rude collectors (and sellers) but from my experience thus far everyone here as been so polite and helpful. Id buy a few of you guys some beers but at 8 on a Sunday morning might not be the best idea...

The MPs were ridiculous last year with MP Grimlock at $300 and a tonnes of overpriced knock offs. I think I'll be looking for old loose G1s (specifically action masters, targetmasters and and micromasters).

You'd most likely find the old g1s in the tubs of those selling TFs. MInd you some can be pretty costly too. I for one am just looking for accessories. As gok mentioned it's mostly for the meet-ups now that I go, since IM pretty much completed my G1 and the new stuff I can get anywhere anytime. In the fair though I do scour for Mattel products - DCUC, MOTUC/POP and the odd comics when there's some.
