Well supposedly we are getting it but there are no garantees. One thing to remember though is that shipping on this figure will be massive. That factor alone would be enough for some people to risk waiting for it to show up at local retail.

Another point is the sheer number of this toy being produced. I bet that this toy will be available for a while. It cost Hasbro $400K to produce. So they are gonna milk this mould for all it's worth you can count on that.

Where'd all that money go? Design's worth about $400 including the lunch tab, so that leaves $399,600 for manufacturing and packaging costs?

    Spot on hehe!

The initial "oh man it's a massive robot" appeal is slowly wearing off for me. If it's available locally I'll probably pick one up, but I agree the design really doesn't feel like it's anything other than a G1 Metroplex with some joints. The base mode is a bit sad really. IMO anyway...

It's a giant 2' robot play-set with a simple transformation that is size-compatible with legends sized figures.

C'mon Hasbro! Anyone would think you're making this for children!

Which brings us to where we are today...

On the subject of which... who let these kids into the collection room? This one looks like he's about to push over poor Metroplex:

    That. Is. Impressive.

I cannot wait to own one and I cannot wait for some non-Hasbro pictures to come out because Hasbro has never been good at posing their products.
